# LaunchLook FAQ

## What do you actually test?

We walk your live URL like a first-time visitor on desktop and phone. No GitHub, no repo. Typical checks:

- **Signup and login.** Confirmation and password-reset emails actually arrive.
- **Forms and checkout.** Contact, booking, payment. Silent failures are #1.
- **Mobile layout.** Tap targets, menus, overflow, CTAs at phone width.
- **Trust pages.** Privacy, terms, contact/support links that work.
- **Dead links and buttons.** 404s and clicks that go nowhere.
- **Placeholder and dev-only content.** Fake stats, seed data, dev shortcuts on prod.
- **First-visitor paths.** Homepage to core action without getting stuck.

A person edits the list before you see it. No raw dump of 200 warnings.

## What are human-tested workflows and human review?

**Human-tested workflows:** A real person clicks through signup, booking, contact, and checkout paths, submits forms, and checks whether confirmation, thank-you, and notification emails actually arrive.

**Human review:** AI helps surface issues quickly. Every finding still gets a pass from a person before you see it: false positives dropped, wording tightened, gaps added when they matter.

## Tier differences

**Starter ($19).** Up to 10 findings with paste-into-builder fix text; Main Report, Quick Start Guide, and Pre-Launch Checklist PDFs; desktop + mobile walkthrough (real form submits and email checks).

**Scale Up ($49).** Everything in Starter, plus up to 30 findings, cross-user data isolation check (2 dummy test accounts), User Guide PDF, and Fix Check included ($9 re-audit within 14 days).

**Pro ($99).** Everything in Scale Up, plus up to 40 findings, integrations review (Stripe, auth, email, analytics), recorded Loom walkthrough, Handoff Report PDF included, Ask Rob anything (5 questions / 24h), and one Fix Check included after delivery.

## Which platforms?

Any vibe-coded **web app** with a public URL: Lovable, Bolt, Base44, Replit, v0, Cursor, Webflow, and others.

## Code or GitHub access?

No. Public URL only (plus temporary test accounts on Scale Up / Pro when the app has logins). No GitHub, codebase, or builder login.

## Built-in AI builder tools vs LaunchLook?

Lovable's SEO check, Bolt linters, and similar built-in tools each cover one slice of launch prep. SEO tools help Google. Linters catch syntax. None of them submit your contact form and wait for the confirmation email, load your URL at phone width, or flag "Dev Bypass" still on the login page.

What we see on almost every app we review:

- **Silent form failures.** Submit looks fine. Nothing sends. No error. #1 thing we find.
- **Mobile layout.** Buttons you can't tap, CTAs hidden behind the menu. Desktop preview lies.
- **Dev junk on prod.** Seed data, fake ratings, "Dev Bypass" still live.
- **Missing trust pages.** No privacy policy, terms, or contact that works.
- **Robotic copy.** Vague hero lines people feel even if they can't name it.

Most apps have 5 to 15 of these before you'd notice on your own. LaunchLook helps the person you text the link to, not the search crawler.

Scale Up and Pro go deeper: data isolation, Stripe/login/email/analytics checks, and compliance basics on paid flows.

## Webflow vs vibe-coded checkup?

Same human review; checks shift to forms, noindex/robots, JSON-LD, Designer-to-live mismatches, and breakpoints (991 / 767 / 478). Paste-into-Designer fix text uses Webflow Designer language. See https://launchlook.app/webflow.md

## LaunchLook vs PageLens AI?

Both scan your live site. PageLens targets SEO folks who want fast, recurring scans. LaunchLook targets vibe coders on Lovable / Cursor / Bolt who want a one-off pre-launch check with paste-into-builder fix text. Table: https://launchlook.app/compare#pagelens

## LaunchLook vs a Fiverr UX audit?

Fiverr is a marketplace ($5 to $200+ per gig). Scope and quality vary by seller; many cheap gigs are generic. LaunchLook is a fixed pre-launch checkup: same checklist every time, paste-into-builder fix text, usually within 48 hours. Fiverr fits design work or ongoing freelancers; LaunchLook fits vibe-coded apps before beta users. Table: https://launchlook.app/compare#fiverr

## Why isn't this $1 like PageLens or other scanners?

Scanners ($1 to $29) are automated: fast scores, headers, SEO, software-generated reports. LaunchLook is a person walking your app: forms submitted, confirmation emails checked, mobile tested, and I edit every finding before delivery. **Fair comparison:** our **free 2 findings** (human review) vs PageLens's $1 hook; **Starter $19** is the first paid tier when you want up to 10 findings plus PDFs. PageLens for site scorecards; LaunchLook for "will a real user complete signup?" Use both if you can. Details: https://launchlook.app/compare#pagelens

## Broken Flow Review ($49)

Post-launch only. You name **one** failing flow (signup, checkout, onboarding, etc.). Up to ~5 focused findings with paste-into-builder fix text in a short PDF. Not a full audit. FAQ accordion: https://launchlook.app/faq#broken-flow-review

## Do you offer refunds?
