LaunchLook is operated by Rob Dods (hello@launchlook.app). We run pre-launch checkups for web apps. AI helps draft findings; I (Rob) edit everything before you get the report. This policy covers what we collect and how we use it. See also our Terms of Service.
Please use the intake form only (not email) for credentials. Do not send:
For Scale Up ($49) and Pro ($99) user data isolation checks, create temporary test accounts only. Delete or rotate those credentials after we deliver your report.
The free 2-finding audit uses the same review process as paid checkups, but we only email the top two findings. No payment required. We queue requests in our internal workspace (Notion), apply the same AI-assisted draft + human review, and send results by email. Free requests are limited per email and IP to prevent abuse.
Paid deliveries are PDFs by email. If you reply “share” after delivery, we can also publish a sanitized web page at launchlook.app/r/{your-slug} for posting on social. It is private by default. Public pages show sanitized findings (your live URL and email are stripped). Screenshots from the audit are not published on that page. Reply “unshare” to make it private again.
We use your information only to deliver your checkup report, send transactional email, handle refunds, and improve our service. We do not sell your data.
We use AI (Anthropic's Claude or OpenAI's GPT models) to analyze screenshots and HTML from your live URL. Your app data goes to those providers only to generate the draft audit. We do not use your data to train models. The providers do not keep screenshots or HTML past the audit run. I review and edit on our side before anything is emailed to you.
If you provide test logins for a Scale Up ($49) or Pro ($99) audit, we use them only during the audit. We will not make purchases, change production data, delete records, invite users, send messages, or perform destructive actions unless you explicitly agree in writing beforehand. Credentials are deleted within 24 hours of report delivery.
Audit artifacts (screenshots and review notes) are kept for 30 days, then deleted.
Customer record means: your name, email, order date, tier purchased, app URL, delivery status, and support/refund history. We may keep this longer in our internal workspace (Notion) for support, tax, refund handling, and referral tracking.
We may use privacy-friendly analytics (e.g. Plausible) on the marketing site. If enabled, it does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites.
Email hello@launchlook.app to request access, correction, or deletion of your data. We do not sell personal information. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
LaunchLook is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
Starter policy for an early-stage service. Have a lawyer review before scaling.
